A Brief Summary of A Wrinkle in Time
A Wrinkle in Time is written by Madeleine L'Engle and is unarguably one of the greatest pieces of literature today. The story revolves around Meg Murry, a high school girl. Along with her younger brother, Charles Wallace, and her friend Calvin O'Keefe go on an adventure through time and space. At the beginning of the story, Meg is a homely and loving girl, troubled by the insecurities and the concerns she has for her father. The plot of the story begins with the entrance of Mrs. Whatsit at their house. Even though she seems like a normal woman, but she can read Meg's thoughts. She told Meg's mother by reassuring her of a kind of tesseract, which eventually became the fifth dimension through which the siblings will travel. The siblings and Calvin learned from Mrs. Whatsit that a great evil awaits them. Thus, embarking their journey through time and space.
