What Are Supporting Details?
Supporting details sound simple, but the concept is significant in various kind of writing or speaking. Experts suggest that write anything which people can understand exactly you want to entail. No matter if you are writing a research paper, defending your friend in a specific matter, or making a high sale, you have to provide the factual details to support your claim. But it does not mean that you provide a bundle of information together. Only you have to support what you want to point out. If you ignore this fact, you can’t argue on this with notable success. Proper use of supporting details may be the best trick to deal with multiple circumstances. No matter, you defend yourself or write your thesis report. How supporting details explain the decision? Suppose you are in court as a culprit who was fighting for a traffic charge. The victim accused you of the damage; however, it was his fault. Then, the argument starts in court. Now, the question is, who is telling the truth? It is impossible to tell without authentic evidence. In this case, you need to investigate everything thoroughly to find the perfect prove.

Identifying Supporting Details
: Read the paragraph. Then complete the concept map. An object's kinetic energy is related to its mass and to its speed. The larger the mass of an object, the greater its kinetic energy.
